Ask the expert: Eddie Cano ~ Shaklee Director and Hispanic Marketing

We asked Eddie Cano, Shaklee Director of Sales and Hispanic Marketing as well as our “go-to-guy” for compensation to share with us how new people can get started right away, and earn the cost of their Mission PAK.

This is a powerful goal that you can set and achieve right away, even within your first month in Shaklee, that demonstrates how you can earn, and gets a new builder started with the right activities that will help them build their business to Director and beyond.

When you join as a GOLD Ambassador, and then sponsor three who do the same within your first three full months, you can earn back bonuses that equal and even exceed what you paid for your GOLD Ambassador Pack. Here's how it works.

Let’s assume you join with a GOLD Mission PAK for $299:

For each person who does what you did and joins with the purchase of a GOLD Mission PAK – you earn a $50 GOLD bonus. When you sponsor three GOLDs, you earn $150 in GOLD bonuses.
You also earn sponsoring points for each person who joins—five points for each GOLD sponsored. During your first 3 full months, every 15 sponsoring points also earns you an extra $150 Power Bonus. Your three GOLDs are worth 15 points – so you get a $150 Power Bonus.
Your GOLD bonuses plus your Power bonuses equal $300 and you’ve earned the cost of your GOLD Mission PAK.

If you sponsor with a Super GOLD Mission PAK for $750:

For each person who does what you did and joins with the purchase of a Super GOLD Mission Pack you earn a $100 GOLD bonus. When you sponsor three, you earn $300 total in GOLD bonuses.

You also earn sponsoring points for each person who joins—10 points for each Super GOLD sponsored. During your first three full months, every 15 sponsoring points also earns you an extra $150 Power Bonus. Your three Super GOLDs are worth 30 points –so you earn $300 in Power bonuses. Each Super GOLD Mission PAK is worth 500PV.

Add your Mission PAK plus the three others you sponsor and you get 2000PV when you sponsor all three within your first month, qualifying you as a Director and earning you 20% on your volume ($280 after paying downline volume bonuses).

Your GOLD bonuses from the Super GOLD Mission PAK, plus your Power Bonuses and your volume bonuses add up to $880—much more than covering the cost of your Mission PAK

My mom has used Shaklee products for over 17 years, so most of my life I’ve grown up around Shaklee. In 2007, I was 15, overweight and depressed about my weight. Thankfully my mother recommended that I try Cinch® and I fell in LOVE! After a month I was back to a healthier weight* and back in my size 7 jeans! Then I started adding other Shaklee products and the more I tried, the more in love I fell with Shaklee.

Even though I loved the products, I wasn’t interested in having my own Shaklee business until I took a class in college on International Business Administration and noticed how the Shaklee business model was better than traditional business models. Then after an incident at my job, I realized that having a boss and being paid so little in comparison to what I could earn with Shaklee didn’t make sense.

So I left my job and set my mind to building my own Shaklee business. Now I’m making my way up to Senior Director and with that income I am going back to college in the spring and plan to pay for my own tuition! Even at my age, Shaklee is the vehicle to achieve your DREAMS.
